GAUGE: 9 sc + 11 rows = 4 in [10 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

Rnd 1 (RS) Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across to last ch, 3 sc in last ch; working across opposite side of foundation ch, sc in each ch across, working 2 sc in last ch; join with sl st in first sc; turn – 282 sc.

Rnd 2 (WS) Ch 2, hdc in first st, hdc in next st, *2 hdc in next st, hdc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in top of turning ch; turn – 423 sts.

Rnd 3 (RS) Rep Rnd 2 – 635 sts.

Rnd 4 (WS) Ch 2, hdc in first hdc, hdc in next 2 hdc, *2 hdc in next hdc, hdc in next 2 hdc; rep from * around; join with sl st in top of turning ch – 847 sts.
