PLACE MATS Make one in each colorway shown above. With smaller hook and A, ch 45.Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across, turn – 44 sc. Row 2 Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn – 44 sc. Rep Row 2, working in the following color sequence: 3 more rows A; 1 row B; 2 rows A; 1 row B; 2 rows C; 1 row B; 2 rows A; 1 row C; 2 rows D; 1 row C; 2 rows A; 1 row C; 22 rows A; 1 row C; 2 rows A; 1 row C; 2 rows D; 1 row C; 2 rows A; 1 row B; 2 rows C; 1 row B; 2 rows A; 1 row B; 5 rows A. Fasten off. Weave in ends.FINISHING The edge is finished with a fringe of approximately 2 inches [5 cm] in length; one strand of each of the four colors. Fringe assembly is per diagram below; one knot of fringe on every other stitch. Trim fringe if desired. 1.
